Niagara based artist John J.C Bulmer has been a contributing artist to ‘The Hellgirl Sketchbook’ by The Art Unleashed message boards and Afterburn Media. Also ‘Hello do you work here?’ by Alterna Comics.
He currently works with a group of very talented writers on projects from comic books to graphic novels forming Lone Castle Studios.
John also makes appearances at conventions and sci-fi shows to promote his work such as The Niagara Falls Comic-con, FunExpo, London Rogues Sci Fi Fantasy, Pulp Comics and many more!
Kristen from wasabeads.com came into the studio and guest-hosted with us! Check out her website and her awesome line of polymer-clay jeweler modeled to look like sushi, however, items are available in a variety of styles, mediums and techniques.
Wasabeads Custom Creations – Kristen Johnston is a Canadian artist specializing in polymer clay creations. Being a geek at heart, most of her work is nerd themed. Kristen has several lines of Geeky creations, including Steampunk, comic and video game inspired as well as sushi themed jewellery, which inspired the name Wasabeads.
Though her primary work is geek themed, items are available in a variety of styles, mediums and techniques. The newest addition to Kristen’s repertoire is Nature Inspired pieces which feature abalone shell style gems and pearlescent accents.
