We were honoured to host a panel at Frightmare in The Falls for actor Brett Wagner.
Brett was cast as Leatherface in the 2003 remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and has the first kill in movie with sledge-hammer called the Kemper Kill. Brett got heat stroke during the filming and was replaced. Fans of the movie call him the Lost Leatherface.
On April 25th JStew and Sara J attended a very special concert at Fallsview casino in Niagara Falls. Micky Dolenz was there paying tribute to his bandmates and brothers Michael Nesmith, Peter Tork and Davy Jones. This is their review of the show and they also discus the origins of their love of the Monkees music.

At Frightmare in the Falls JStew and Sara J spoke with actor Duncan Regehr. JStew went over to MrRegehr’s table to thank him for being part of V- the show he and his friend Colin bonded over in 1984. He graciously allowed us to ask him a few questions about Monster Squad and V. We certainly appreciated it.
JStew was very happy to be reunited with writer Jason Loo at Toronto Comic. Jason talked about some of his upcoming projects for Marvel including the Spider-verse character that he created.
At Toronto Comic Con I was introduced to a fantastic artist and an incredibly nice human being who is passionate about his work – Mr Andrew Thomas. Andrew is the letterer for two excellent Kevin Smith projects, Quick Stop and Maskerade. I was really happy to talk to him about his origins in the comic world, comics and artists he admires and how he got the job working on Kevin’s books. Big thanks going out to Andrew for his time and to my friend Stephany Lein for introducing us.

Last December we held our very first con in St Catharines Ontario. We called it Garden City Comic Con. On December the 3rd, JStew finally realized his dream of hosting a comic con–the first one in St Catharines. During the show JStew spoke with some of his friends, Tymara, Alfonso and Candy about their day
We were very honored to host the panel for Andrew Divoff. Mr Divoff is known for his roles in Air Force One, Lost and of course the Wishmaster. He was a delight to listen to and we hope you will also enjoy it.
We had the privilege of hosting a panel for actor Quinn Lord at Frightmare In The Falls. Quinn is best known for his portrayal of Sam in the film Trick ‘r Treat –we talked about that and all kinds of other subjects. It was a great experience and we thank Quinn for his kindness.
On October 29th JStew hosted a panel for actor/comedian John Kassir. John is perhaps best known for being the voice of The Crypt keeper on Tales from the Crypt. During the panel he discusses his career.

Its our 800th recording! On this episode we reminisce about our time at this years Frightmare in the Falls.
We were blessed to have our very own table at London Comic Con. We dusted off our old dice question game and had a great time meeting people.
On September 16th we were fortunate enough to do a live version of our podcast on the podcast stage of London Comic Con. It was so much fun! Joining us for the event were out good friends Candy Cosplay and ShadowStorm Cosplay. It was a wonderful experience that we hope to repeat someday.

For the first time since 2019 -JStew and Sara review an actual concert! This time out they talk about The Steven Page concert at Fallsview Casino. They discuss their love of his music and how they discovered his old band The Barenaked Ladies.
On July the 8th – JStew and Sara J attempted the first ever live We got the Geek chat on FB. We decided to review and do a taste test of two new Super hero cereals based on the Flash and Supergirl. At this years Cambridge Comic Arts festival we were joined by the great Stephany Lein. We talked about her brand spanking new comic – Shelly 2 and found out about her love of the Simpsons.
At the Cambridge Comic Arts festival we ran into our old buddy Jason Ward. Recently Jason released his first children book called My Favorite Hero and we got the scoop on it.
We Got the Geek returned to the Cambridge Comic arts festival for the fifth year in a row. once again we chatted with the shows founder Alfonso Espinos. This was his 46th appearance on the show and we spoke about what he might like to do with his 5oth. We also chatted about some of the books that were making their debut at the show.
Recently at The Fresh Kills Con we spoke with our old friend and honorary member of We Got The Geek – Dr Stevil. this time out he was dressed in a zombie version of his character. Subjects talked about include New York and Area 51.

At fresh kills con, Sara Jayne interviewed actor/ puppeteer Allan Trautman. Mr Trautman is best known for his work with the Jim Henson Company, the Muppets, and as the Tarman zombie in “Return of the Living Dead.”
Recently we attended the final Jace Wars fundraiser. The event has been near and dear to our hearts. We have been proud to have been asked to help every year. This year The founder of Jace Wars – Aaron Russell gave us the task of recording an audio scrapbook with friends and family. Here it is, hope you all enjoy it
