We are back! Once again, adulting and having a day job has delayed our podcast but we have returned to talk about some of the great activities we got to do in the second half of the summer. We finally give our review of the newest Superman film and we pay our respects to our friend Dave Bennison.
JStew and Sara talk about their experience at Niagara Falls Comic Con, going to the drive in and discovering how wonderful the fan base of Wynonna Earp is.
At the DSBN fan con, Sara J spoke with two wonderful representatives from the Fort Erie library – Serena and Sara. We learned a lot about their library experience.
We were honoured to have a table at a wonderful show called the DSBN Fan Con in Fort Erie on April 26th. We shared a table with our amazing author friend Jen Frankel. Despite the bad weather, we had a great time and met a lot of amazing people. We revived our roll the dice game and gave a way some comics. Here is the results of that game. Thanks going out to Marcus Antaya for having us as guests at this wonderful event.
At long last, we have another couple of geek themed cereal tasting. This time out we try the Wednesday and Squishmallow cereals. Find out which one we loved and which one left a terrible aftertaste.

On October the 28th at Frightmare in the Falls, JStew and Sara J were honoured to moderate a panel for a fantastic actor and a wonderful human being, We covered everything from acting at Stratford to filming his death scene in The Last Boycott. Thank you Mr Coates from being extremely nice to us.
On August 9th, JStew and Sara J travelled to the new concert venue in Niagara Falls, The OLG stage to see the I want my 80’s tour! The performers at this show were Paul Young, The Hooters and the man himself, Mr Rick Springfield. It was a magical night and now you can hear what the dynamic duo thought of the show and the venue.

A cosplayer interview years in the making! For a few years we have been talking to Robyn Francis about doing an interview. Her cosplays are always well executed and we have always been impressed with her work. At Niagara Falls Comic Con we were finally able to chat about some of her cosplays and celebrity encounters. It was wonderful to finally have her on as a guest and hopefully sit won’t take years to have her back on.

We were honoured to host a panel at Frightmare in The Falls for actor Brett Wagner.
Brett was cast as Leatherface in the 2003 remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and has the first kill in movie with sledge-hammer called the Kemper Kill. Brett got heat stroke during the filming and was replaced. Fans of the movie call him the Lost Leatherface.
On April 25th JStew and Sara J attended a very special concert at Fallsview casino in Niagara Falls. Micky Dolenz was there paying tribute to his bandmates and brothers Michael Nesmith, Peter Tork and Davy Jones. This is their review of the show and they also discus the origins of their love of the Monkees music.

At Toronto Comic Con JStew was reunited with his good friend – the amazing Stephany Lein. They Talked about her upcoming projects and good times.
At Frightmare in the Falls JStew and Sara J spoke with actor Duncan Regehr. JStew went over to MrRegehr’s table to thank him for being part of V- the show he and his friend Colin bonded over in 1984. He graciously allowed us to ask him a few questions about Monster Squad and V. We certainly appreciated it.
JStew was very happy to be reunited with writer Jason Loo at Toronto Comic. Jason talked about some of his upcoming projects for Marvel including the Spider-verse character that he created.
At Toronto Comic Con I was introduced to a fantastic artist and an incredibly nice human being who is passionate about his work – Mr Andrew Thomas. Andrew is the letterer for two excellent Kevin Smith projects, Quick Stop and Maskerade. I was really happy to talk to him about his origins in the comic world, comics and artists he admires and how he got the job working on Kevin’s books. Big thanks going out to Andrew for his time and to my friend Stephany Lein for introducing us.

Last December we held our very first con in St Catharines Ontario. We called it Garden City Comic Con. We were very honored to host the panel for Andrew Divoff. Mr Divoff is known for his roles in Air Force One, Lost and of course the Wishmaster. He was a delight to listen to and we hope you will also enjoy it.
We had the privilege of hosting a panel for actor Quinn Lord at Frightmare In The Falls. Quinn is best known for his portrayal of Sam in the film Trick ‘r Treat –we talked about that and all kinds of other subjects. It was a great experience and we thank Quinn for his kindness.
On October 29th JStew hosted a panel for actor/comedian John Kassir. John is perhaps best known for being the voice of The Crypt keeper on Tales from the Crypt. During the panel he discusses his career.
